However, if your needs are specific, you can also order lots of gorgeous ribbons by the yard or reel. Ribbon can also be found at Strano Designs, which also sells interesting ribbon hair bows, lanyards, and other items. They boast lovely striped, dotted, and patterned ribbons that would be fun to use to wrap presents or trim something. They sell a product called "ribbonstiff," which is a glue for ribbons, which would be useful.
I started this quest a while ago, because I was disappointed that our wonderful local ribbon sources seem to have dried up. However, I'm still not convinced that I could buy ribbon online instead. It is such a textural experince.
